I live in the uk. and i cant seem to find any clip on hair extensions. maybe in claires?
Saying things like they are tacky and and they dont sell them because they are tacky etc. doesnt really help. but well done for giving yourself some points.
oh and its for a party. not just for in general

Im looking for either dark brown or reddish hair extensions for a party im going to dressed as ariel I have to have really really long ones as my hair is already red (dyed) and half-way down by back. Hair extensions comes in different grades, it refers to the quality I would only recommend getting remy as it is the best hair you can buy it is from the roots of the hair so the hair cuticle is going in the same direction its hard to explain sorry =) using remy hair will make your hair extensions last longer as low quality hair tends to tangle and get matted due to the hair cuticle going in different directions
Remy hair however is the most expensive but it will last longer so you wouldn’t need to get it re done as often as you would with low quality hair

I don’t want to get them glued or weaved into scalp because thats bad for hair, does anyone with experience with clip on extensions know how well they work and where I can get them? Please people with experience with them answer only.

I already have clip-in colored hair extensions that I use because I cannot have crazy hair at work so I take them off. I found a place that will braid colored ones in for my daughter but I dont know where to buy ones that are not clip-on. Any suggestions?
You need to go to a beauty supply store, they usually sell hair there that can be braided in by tracks.
I have semi-long hair but i would like it to be longer and it won’t seem to grow anymore. So i was wondering if there are any hair stylists or anyone who has actually had hair extensions on here to help me out.I want real human hair and i shouldn’t need too terribly much. My hair is about 5 or six inches past my shoulder and i just want it to be maybe 5 inches longer. Does anyone have an estimate of how much this will all be including the cost of hair and the services to have them put in?

hellooo, i am a great lengths hair extensionist. i would choose great lengths because they are 100% human hair and there bonds are untouchable! the bonds are made out of keratin, which is the same as your hair on your head- so your natural hair can breath. the bonds are also really skinny so you cant see them.
the weight of the great lengths hair will not damage your hair at all! its all on your up keep and and the way the extensionist applys them.
the up keep is very easy- brush your hair 2-3 times a day and spray the antitap on your hair after your shower. dont go to sleep with wet hair.
when the extensions get wet they have a beautiful natural wave. so if you wanted to keep your hair straight you would have to straighten them. but its also a get way to get body in your hair.

im going to a wedding and i have pretty long hair but i want to make it longer and i plan on using real hair extensions, but i want to know is it safe to curl them and how long real clip in hair extensions should last me. Or should i just go to a professional and get braided in extensions?
i have clip on hair extensions and you can curl them. just treat them like normal hair. wash them and take care of them using product just like your hair. i wear them all day. if you put them in right they should stay in a while and you shouldnt have any problems.

i have loose curly/wavy hair that’s at my shoulders, and it won’t grow. i work out, eat right, ect and my hair just takes forever to grow. so, i really want to get extensions [NOT clip on] but i have no idea where to get them. i’ve tried sally’s, amazon, and i really don’t trust google or yahoo for looking for these things. can you give me websites? any idea where to get them?
Sally’s online has some. You just need to buy them, have them shipped to you, and then find someone who has gone to beauty school and won’t charge you too much to put them in.
