Hi i’m wondering how long hair extensions can be.
I’ve seen 30inch ones online that are 30$
but i’m not sure if they are synthetic or not.
the length i’m looking at is around 30-28 inch, 100% human hair
If they are realistic proportions
i’m wondering where to buy them and how much they will be
try looking on sally’s
I live in the UK, In England. I am wanting to buy from somewhere some amazing quality clip on hair extensions, I will match them up with my hair once I have dyed it. I would like to them to last up to 4 months or longer.
Not costing too much preferably.

I’m visiting a friend in prison this weekend. I was planning on wearing my clip in extensions, but not if I have to take them out in front of everyone. I’m not really sure what the basic prison rules are, considering I’ve only gone to visit him in County. Both facilities are medium security though. If anyone can inform me on what they allow and don’t allow. Also, do they allow piercings? I know all of them have different standards, but I’m sure most they all have a similar standard.
Usually when you set a metal detector off, it just directs the operator to investigate further and make sure that it’s not a weapon. If you explain that you have extensions or piercings be ready to show that you actually have these.
Hello, i just had my hair extensions micro braided in on Friday (12/26/08) and now (12/29/08) I’m feeling this itching/burning irritation around the nape area of my scalp, and there are little red bumps there also.. I’m using a scalp moisturizer and a leave in conditioning spray as well.. should i use neosporin or Vaseline on it to help? And it cant be an allergic reaction b/c then it would be all over my scalp not in one certain area..
Any suggestions, please?
Your hair is being pulled in the nape. The braids are either too tight, too heavy, or there is too much pulling on the braids. If you don’t get this corrected, you may loose hair. The bumps you are seeing are your hair follicles being irritated.
My hair is naturally dark brown but i coloured it using xxl dye which is a purple colour (designed especially for dark hair) should i buy dark brown hair extensions an put the same dye on them? They are human hair extensions so can be dyed.
Best to go to a quality hair extensions salon in your area, so they can look at you, and go over the best hair colors that match your hair type, texture, and your goals.
My hair extensions are due a wash. They are clip in ones, just wondering how to go about washing them? Do I use shampoo? I have a conditioning mask that I am going to condition them with but just wondering what techniques have worked best for others?
I had clip-in human hair extensions for years, and I found the best way to wash them was this:
-Get a tub full of lukewarm water. *Not* hot water!
-Use as much shampoo as you would for washing your hair in the shower, but use a very gentle baby-shampoo, pH-balanced. Try ‘Johnson’s Baby Shampoo’, that smells lovely too
-Mix the water and shampoo together with your hands until it’s all frothy and well mixed in.
-Take your extensions, (making sure they are well brushed beforehand!) and, holding them together in a bunch at the top, dip them into the tub until they are completely soaked with the water/shampoo mixture.
-Take them out of the mixture, and gently stroke the sudsy water through the length of the hair with your fingertips. Do not by any means scrub with a circular motion as you do with your normal hair – only use a straight, root-to-tip motion.
-Repeat the soaking and washing process several times.
Then, when you’re done washing, rinse the extensions in a stream of very cold water. Add your conditioning mask and leave on for ages, the longer the better! Rinse off again with very cold water.
Hope this helps!
Will it damage the hair? i’m talking REAL HAIR extensions..or do i have to take it off, or is there a process i have to take?. help! 10 points!
The water wont damage the extension.
but you will probably end up with a matted knot.
my hair extensions ended up like dread locks after a few minutes splashing in the pool
If you do have to go swimming with hair extensions, plait it or tie it up.
I wanna buy hair extensions that are 18 inches long but I’m not sure which brand to get. Should I get Sassy? But I heard they’re pretty thin. Oh and I want extensions that are real human hair and one that I can curl, straighten, etc.
euro hair
just got mine 2 days ago
do the chat thing with me ill tell you about it if you want(:
I have straight thin hair, I am thinking about getting hair extensions to give it more body. Can get extensions that are wavy if your hair is straight?
would it look ok?
I have DEAD straight hair and wavy extensions.
Okay, this is the deal: I have the extensions that clamp to a group of my own hair, not the kind that are glued or sewn. I love them. My hair is just below my bra strap, my extensions are human hair and go to my hips.
To combat this "wave/non wave" issue, and to NOT have to curl your top layer, you need to know that extensions, if you curl them with heat, hold their curl for 3 to 4 days if you don’t wash them every day.
I will curl my hair with a flat iron on Monday and wear it like that to work. Monday night, I put my hair in a French braid and spritz it with Bumble and Bumble tonic. In the morning, I unbraid my hair (it’s a moderately tight braid, not very tight), and shake it out, and finger comb it. Quick spritz with tonic. Looks great, and my natural hair has been in the braid, too, so it’s wavy with my hair but I don’t need to damage my hair by curling it again. I can do this until Thursday night. Friday, I wash my hair and then just do the braid thing (no curling) for the weekend to give my hair a rest. Monday morning, I wash my hair and start over.
so long story short, yes, you can get wavy extensions–most extensions, even though they look straight, wave as soon as you was them, so after playing with braiding, you’ll be able to get your own hair wavy with it without damaging it.
