I’ve been told that braiding your hair often or getting hair extensions helps your hair grow. I don’t understand. How?
Also, what are some ways to grow out short hair? I’m not trying to make it really long. Just shoulder-length.
They help to grow out your hair because they cause a lot less damage to your hair. When you brush your hair, expecially when it is wet, it is prone to split ends and breakage which also makes your hair grow slowly. By braiding it you do not brush it, however do not braid it tightly. Hair extentions do the same thing because its not that they DO anything it’s what they DONT do that makes your hari grow. they do not need to be straightened or blowdryed. By using heat on your real hair it causes split ends and breakage, which makes hair grow slowly
Someways are too get a good conditioner. I wish I could recommend a brand, but everybodies hair is different. Also, there are some vitamin e? treatments for your hair that cause it to grow faster. Also, i’ve heard horse shampoo works too

*Step One: Straighten your hair. This will help it to blend in with your extensions.
*Step Two: Brush your hair. You don’t really have to I guess, but it makes it look better in my opinion.
*Step Three: Make a horizontal part at the lowest section of your hair following the crown.
*Step Four: Use your strongest hair spray and tease along the part.
*Step Five: Brush your extensions to keep them in good shape. Clip them in along the horizontal part.
*Continue to repeat those step with however many tracks you choose to put in. When you are done, remember to blend your real hair in with your extensions to give the illusion that it’s your real hair.
*It’s a good idea to get a silk case (right corner of screen) to keep your extensions in to keep them in good shape.
*Don’t forget to layer your extensions so that you don’t just have your normal short hair and then really long hair. It will look stupid. Unless you cut your own hair, be sure to have a professional cut your extensions for you.

You know, those long full ones "scene girls wear?
I want blue ones.
I have hair a little past shoulder length, and I want ones that go to around my belly button when over my shoulder…
http://www.UrbanHairDesigns.com sells hair extensions that are great for scene hair styles.
I just bought a pack of 14" Euronext Remy hair extensions in jet black. I’ve worn them to the bar twice now and them seem fine but how do I know when to wash them? ( Do they actually get oily?) And how do I wash them? Just with regular shampoo and conditioner?
Yes just wash them in the sink with shampoo and conditioner, that’s the easiest way to do it. You don’t need to very often either, just when they seem like they need a wash.
Well and if you wear them everyday maybe wash them maybe 2 or 3 times a week at the least. But really they don’t need to be washed that much, since they’re not attached to your actual head, they don’t get really gross and oily and you don’t sleep with them either,
