I’m looking for some 18inch Remy hair extensions. There are loads of websites and I’m not sure which one to choose from. Any suggestions?

As I have curly hair, would it be better to get the wavy extensions rather than straight ones?

I bought hair extensions and when i put them in, and lay on my friends or whoever, it feels hard on them. I know it must be normal, but is there a way to prevent it, or hide it?

You probably would extensions that were good quality. They shouldn’t feel hard,they should be silky and smooth.

I have naturally wavy hair and I am getting human hair extensions to add some length to my hair. I wear my own naturally wavy hair a lot the way it is, but I also enjoy straightening it. Because I have naturally wavy hair, would I be able to get wavy human hair extensions and straighten them as well? I guess my question is do wavy human hair extensions straighten or are they treated with a product prior that doesn’t allow them to be straightened? Of course I would be straightening with care and heat protecting products! Thank you!

You should get wavy hair. You can straighten the wavy extensions when you straighten your natural hair!

My hair always grows just past my shoulders and then stops, i really want some long hair that goes down about to my waist, my hair is unlayered, and its quite wavy/ light curly, more like ringlets, does anyone know where i can buy some hair extensions that fit my discription or any advice on what ones to get or where i can buy some? And also somewhere i can buy that delivers in the UK :3

It is naturally very curly, so I will be flat ironing it regularly. I also color it, but I take very good care of my hair. I use very high quality shampoo and conditioner twice a week, do bi-weekly hydrating hair masks, always use a heat protectant and let it air dry whenever possible. What’s the best type of hair extension and attachment method?
Besides clip-ins… I want them to stay long-term, I’m hoping for 2-5 months

Probably micro-link. They don’t damage your hair, they stay in for about 4-6 months. They are pricey however. They take a piece of extension and I don’t know how to describe it, but they like glue(?) it strand by strand onto each individual piece of your real hair. Google it, they’re hardly noticeable. You can put your hair up, do anything with them in.

I want to cut, curl, and wash them.

My OLD extensions from Sally’s, however, turned out horrible after I washed them for the first time and they were around the same price as the Remy extensions (I had to buy the clips and sew them on myself).

The Remy extensions came with the clips sewn on. The clips and the hair itself are of better quality (shinier hair and more durable clips) – and I got more hair. But I’m still afraid to wash or curl/straighten them because of what happened to my first extensions. So are $15.00 Remy extensions washable and can they take heat?
I heard a lot of great things about Remy hair, but I just want to be sure.

When you wash human extensions you have to condition really well, even more so if the quality is not all that great. Extensions from sally aren’t all that great, especially if you only paid around $15 for them. They have a coating on them that makes them soft and shiny once you wash tht coating away they become dull and more prone to tangling. When you wash always condition for 10 minutes before you shampoo. Then use a mild shampoo and mix it with water in a sink or bath tub. Run the extensions through the soapy mixture and gently wash them, but dont scrub or pull on the hair. Rinse them in luke warm water and then condition for another 10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm (never hot) water again and pat dry before leaving out to air dry.
Hair extensions are better when you wash them as least as possible. Only wash them if absolutely necessary, like if theres a lot of build up form hair spray. When styling with heat always use a heat protector.

Indian remy hair is usually the best quality you can get. So it last much longer then human hair extensions that aren’t as good of quality. Because remy hair is so good the price is more expensive.

Ps. I want to know where your getting Remy hair extensions for $15..

I’ve been thinking about getting clip in extensions a lot lately.
But a few people have told me that after using the extensions for a few years there hair started breaking and thinning out.
Most people said that it didn’t damage their hair but is there still that tiny chance it may damage the hair?

And how does it take to clip them in? My hair is way over my shoulders but I want enough clip in’s to make my hair past my chest, almost to my waist.

It takes minutes to have them put in any extensions worn excessively will cause hair loss. If you are considering wearing the clip on extensions then taking them out to give your hair a break then you should be ok. Avoid going to bed in them as you will loose your hair this way.
