I got a body wave perm about a month ago so my hair is more or less in loose waves at the moment. I’ve also been considering getting feather extensions because i adore the way they look. But would they look awkward and out of place in wavy hair? And if i did get them would i constantly have to curl them?
Feathers have a natural curl to them so they would look fine. You can also curl them with rollers or a curling iron. It depends upon your hair color what would look best though. Lighter hair will tend to lean to the medium to darker colors to contrast against their hair. Darker hair will lean toward the medium to lighter colors like yellow and white. IN the medium area I’d say it depends on how shocking of a color you want like red, blue, green, pink, orange, lime green etc.

i have real hair extensions and i don’t want to spend a lot of money to get them sewed or glued in… i was just wondering if i could do anything myself to make them into clip in extensions? or if i can get a stylist to do it for me? if so, how much would that cost?
Use clips or something to just attach it to your real hair. Bobby pins, or flat clips that won’t ‘bulge’ … also, don’t get them glued in. It ruins your hair, it takes FOREVER, and it’s very expensive. It’s not worth it. You’re much better off to just clip the ones you have in, and let your hair grow naturally. If you can’t find anyway to clip them in, then you can just buy ones with clips already attached. I bought some from a local beauty supply shop. They are made of real hair, meaning that they are completely able to stand being brushed, dried, washed, straightened, curled..etc…they can usually find an exact match for your hair colour at the store, and you can buy them right there. You can buy them in various lengths as well. The only thing is, I wouldn’t want to dye them, so if you dye your hair, then they eventually wouldn’t match anymore. But they are great for the most part, they just take some getting use too, but they blend well and look great. Mine were about $112 or so at a place called Sally’s.
Im going to an amusement park with my friends and I wanna wear my clip in extensions. We will be going on rides and roller coasters. How can I make my clip in’s more stable so they don’t fly off?

I have really thin hair and I want to get extensions done to thicken it up a bit so my hair looks nicer at my wedding and in my pictures… but I really don’t want to spend $500 to get it done (kind of steep for a college student).
