    White people can do lots with their hair 2. I thougth that afro carribean hair was more prone to damage with alot of them relaxing it which damages the hair were as we have natrually relaxed hair. I have a second weave now and my hair is now stronger and grown longer and because my hair is straight i leave the top section out and it blends with the hair extensions great.

    cont. white girls/ladies should be made aware of the sew in method. its far less abusive on the hair and scalp.

    i think white people should use this method and i have always said it. just like black women that use glue to attatch the weave in end up damaging their hair. the same goes for the traditional method white people use to put in theirs. i know its called “extensions”, but technically its the same as a weave. the only thing is they usually dont have a choice as most white salons only use this method and it destroys the hair. paris hilton, ect all of those celebs have thinning hair now. i think

    lol sorry just had to laugh at some stupid comments people make. But lets be honest here people. at least 90 % of women in general are fake.

    makeup, tanning and all that crap, we all try to make ourselves look good. Thats what women do what they do.

    I admit it extentions are addicting – just like tattoo’s. My best friend is white and she is addicted to extentions more than I am. No matter what I will still love her.

    I am …

    Slylady81
    I am black & have had natural long dreads down my back, I have worn a fro (tall and small), corn rows, perms, jeri curls, french braids, weaves & more. I choose to wear a style not because I can’t take care of my hair. I change my hairstyles because black people have the STRONGEST hair on the planet and we can wear any style we want. Whereas asian & white people usually only are limited to one hairstyle. Weave is not a NEGATIVE it is just one example of the blessing of being black.

    @JiggleGirl777

    Being that African Americans or just plain ole people from African decent spends billions on hair weave and or products that help sustain the weaves, It is obvious why there is a stereotype floating around that black people are always wearing a weave (when you see them walking around with long, straight hair that goes beyond the shoulders.)

    Sorry if I offended you.. Just stating a fact.. If you disagree with that I am sure you can look it up :)

    @JiggleGirl777

    @JiggleGirl777

    I’m not saying or implying that people of other races aren’t wearing weaves. It is obvious that all races wear weaves and I don’t really see it as a big deal. I was just stating a FACT that “black” people spend billions on their hair as a collective. They spend more money on hair than any other race that’s all, just putting a fact out there and people get upset.. Oh well. I am also black and my hair is to the middle of my back. Lol “people like u” You don’t even know me. xD

  13. JiggleGirl777 Says:

    baby, any white or …
    baby, any white or asians with long thick healthy hair is not real. just because u see a white person u naturally think “that’s not fake” but if u ever see a black girl with long hair u think “it’s fake” i’m black and have naturally long hair and have 2 deal with people like u coming up 2 me askin if its real or not, so yes white people wears fake hair, there hair is thin,short, and ragedy.

    That’s awsome! …
    That’s awsome! Being a women I know how it feels when you don’t look good to yourself so I say do whatever makes you happy. Cause at the end of the day it’s you who is your worst critic. What should I look for when looking to get my hair done? (get a weave)

  15. Slylady81 Says:

    LOL don’t be upset.. It’s only the truth.. I know that the truth is sometimes unpleasant to hear but it is what it is..

    If telling the truth makes me a racist, OH WELL, and If a whole head full of fake hair or someone else s hair will make a person feel better then more power to em xD

    what does poor have to do with it rich and poor get weaves..again im going to say it again and slower so you can understand.. IF IT LOOK GOOD DO IT! GET OVER iT! Is it effecting u…thought so….people we have wars going on and murder and missing people and you worried about a poor black girl getting a weave thats why this world is the way it is..we worry about the wrong things. But it is beautiful all the girls got it going on!

  19. Slylady81 Says:

    Of course every …
    Of course every race wears weaves but black women spend Billions on them!!! That’s why there’s a weave store on every corner in black neighborhoods. Black women are the most likely to not want to or are unable to take care of their natural hair so instead of learning how to do it themselves they take their money and run to the nearest weave shop, I have seen black women who were poor yet find a way to get into a salon to spend 100+ dollars on a hair doo. All that said, it’s their business. doyou

We have better things to worry about in life..God people i though we were over this stuff…Geeze!

  22. bella101ify Says:

    first of all thats …
    first of all thats not the only reason why black girls get weaves i personally dont need a weave to have my hair look like another race i wear a weave to give my hair a rest and a break from heat and styling and black girls can get weaves to to accentuate what they have also we dont place faults on any one white girls that have extensions keep it a well kept secret but blame black girls for having it this video demonstrates that every one gets weaves/extentions not only black girls

    This video is great, very nice work!

    I have been doing extensions for well over 20 years and have done all ethnicities of hair. I have never learned how to do sew-in weaves but I’m aware of the process and could probably bang one out if I had to. Most times I find they are way too heavy for fine hair, having seen women lose hair due to having them done. (as with any hair extension process) Plus there is the problem with wearing the hair in a ponytail.
    I realize everyone does hair different and one persons weave is not another persons weave. As long as the cornrow is small and the wefts aren’t too heavy I can see it working and you’ve proved that. Finally some nice work, I’ve seen horrible things on the web and I’m sure everyone else has too. :)
