Can you beach black hair human extensions?

Posted by admin on September 3rd, 2010 and filed under black hair extensions | 2 Comments »

okay so i have black hair extensions that 100% human hair but i’m dyeing my hair purple and i need to dye some of them purple will this be okay to bleach them? does it take loner or damage them a lot?

yes its fine to bleach as long as they are real human hair
it will make them not as soft as they were before, as any normal hair would.
But, if your putting dye back over the bleached part that should soften them back up.

i hope this helps.
good luck

dying hair black extensions?

is it possibl to dye black hair extensions blonde????

If the extensions are made from real hair, then yes. If it is synthetic hair, then no. You cannot lighten synthetic hair. You can darken it by using fabric dye, though.

Will jet black hair extensions work with dark brown hair?

Posted by admin on July 21st, 2010 and filed under black hair extensions | 1 Comment »

So I had needed hair extensions and I got the euronext human hair extensions. And my hair is dark brown almost black but not black. The jet black looked closest to my hair color but its not perfect. I was wondering if I curled it all in it would look ok and blend. I’m getting my hair proffesionally done so I’m thinking it would be ok.

well i think it would look ok because it would all be blended in. so i think it would be fine.

Does Sally Beauty Supply have clip in black hair extensions?

I’ve been wanting them for awhile, and I looked on http://www.horrorkidz.com at those, but they were too expensive for me.

I have black, caucasian hair, if that helps. :)
I need a full set, not just a piece. If that helps too.
Oh, and how much are they at Sally’s? I lost patience looking online, lol.

horrorkidz.com is really good, my sister loves them. she had ordered from them asking if they have full sets but they said no and suggested she buy 7-10 extensions and she bought around 8 i think and it was the same size as a full set. It was way affordable than actually buying a full set and it looks awesome on her. Sallys is a bit expensive and not thick.

dark brown hair dye turned extensions BLACK. HELP!?

Posted by admin on June 8th, 2010 and filed under black hair extensions | 2 Comments »

I tried to dye my med-dark golden brown clip-in hair extensions (100% human hair) a darker brown color, but it turned out so dark it’s pretty much BLACK. I have very light/pale skin, blue eyes (I tend to wear a lot of eyeliner) and i’m worried that I now look to goth with the black hair. I’m pretty much broke and there is no way that I could afford to replace the extensions at this moment, and I look even WORSE with my short hair (bad hair cut, way to short and doesn’t fit me whatsoever). It’s honestly horrible. My friends told me that the black hair looks good on me, but I don’t know if they are telling the truth or not.

I don’t know what to do. Is there any way that I can get the extensions a little lighter? Will washing them a bunch of times help? Or if not, is there any way that I can pull of the pale skin/black hair/eyeliner look without looking goth? I honestly am freaking out right now. please, please, please help!

Your extensions look dark because extension hair is more porous than hair that is growing and it absorbs the color more and will tend to look darker than desired. Washing them will help lighten them but it will take time.

If your friends, who I assume you trust, say it looks good then wear them until they start fading.

If your concerned about looking goth use more blush or some bronzer on your cheeks and warmer lip colors.

i recently brought some human clip in hair extensions can i dye them from black to medium brown? please help.?

I recently brought some human hair clip in extensions on ebay not reliseing there black, and ive got blonde hair at the moment and im planing dying it back to my natural colour medium brown. i was wondering could i dye the black extensions to a medium brown? please help.

hmmm I wouldnt do it from home as you would have to bleach them – which is damaging, my only suggestion would be to go to a salon and ask them to do it and match it to your hair colour :(

Where can i get natural black synthetic clip on hair extensions?

Posted by admin on May 19th, 2010 and filed under black hair extensions | 3 Comments »

i wanna buy them online. i want them synthetic $15-35 dollars. i have natural black hair
and i want it to be at least 18 inches long. CLIP ONS ONLY! anyone know where i can find them?
i checked in google but i cant find anything. help ?

I would strongly suggest to not get synthetic if you want them that long, because you can’t style synthetic ones AT ALL. The only time I would suggest to get synthetic extensions is if you just want a tiny one to like put a little streak in your hair.
I wear brown clip in 18 inch extensions, I used to wear black, and I got them both from Sally’s ( I live in a really small town, there’s no where else to get them.)
Anyway they were around 60-50$ but they were worth it because they come on a really long track, which made me atleast 3 separate sets of extensions ( I triple layer them). Also then you get to make custom pieces, like how long you want them to go around your head. The only down fall is that you have to sew them together yourself if you want to layer them and sew in the clips, but Sally’s sells special thick thread so the thread won’t break and the clips you need. One set of extensions usually lasts me about 2 months, which means one package of extensions last me 6 months. Which is definitely worth it.(:

Can I dye my BLACK hair extensions BLONDE?

Can I?

You can if the hair extensions are natural hair and you would have to go to a professional salon because it would have to be bleached (none of the kind you buy at a drugstore in a box will work!)

but yes, it is possble
