I have some hair extensions that are just way too long for my hair. What I’d like to do is have them cut, but the problem is, I still want them so have the layered cut! I know how to cut layers, but how do I cut them on extensions?
Does anyone know how to do this?
PS: I know I can take them to be cut by a professional but is there any way I can do it by myself?

How to attach the clips on hair extensions?
So, I bought clip on hair extensions but bought the hair and the clips seperately meaning that I have to attach them myself. Although the saleswoman explained what to do I still have NO idea how to put the things on! Can someone please explain how I attach the clips onto the hair extensions NOT how to put them in my hair?
You have to cut the wefts to a certain size, then sew the (Snap Clips, probably) on the weft, see the three little holes on top? you sew the side opposite of the outward opening. Or you can use super glue. Also, you space the clips inches apart on a long-ish track, not on every part of the track

How much human and synthetic hair is in a blended extensions?
I recently purchased hair extensions. I didn’t have much cash on me to purchase human hair so I bought human hair + blended. Which means it’s human hair and synthetic hair mixed together. I was wondering if it were more synthetic hair or more human hair. I can straightening it if I like to, but I just have to set it on low heat. Is there more human hair or more synthetic hair in this? Or is it equal?

If you are having to set your flat iron on a low setting then there is more synthetic hair then human. If you look at the price difference between the "all" human hair extensions and the mix that should give you an idea. Just be super careful using hot tools on your extensions because if there is a lot of synthetic hair you run the risk of actually melting the hair. Use the lowest setting possible and try not to style it everyday try doing it every other or every 2 days you shouldn’t need to wash/clean it more then that.
Does hair extensions effect your natural hair growth?
I have hair extensions cause my hair doesn’t grow, or grows very very very very slow. I have the same hair length ever since like the 5th grade. And right now am like in the 7th. But i don’t hair extensions i feel like am losing hair but at the same time i need them cause i have short hair. My hair extensions are 18 inches. And my hair is like a little bit below my shoulders. no, Britney spears has extensions now. and you can see where her hair is growing in (only b/c she shaved her head!) but i dated a girl once who had extensions had her hair grew like it would normally.

I don’t know the difference between the hair extensions that braid in tracks and the fusion bonded ones. What’s the best way? And why do the prices vary from $600-2500!!! I want to have long blonde hair but I don’t want to ruin my short blonde hair to get it…Help!

If you want to pretip them yourself then liquid gold and liquid gold bond dissolver.
Otherwise keritin pretipped strand extensions and liquid gold bond dissolver again.

i have hair tracks for extensions…i used the extensions be4 when my hair was brown but now my hair grew out to its natural color (pitch black) i dont have time to go out and buy a new pack of hair soo i was wondering if i can put the extension in my hair and color it to match my hair..would the weave take in the hair color?? its 100% human hair…helpp..thnx
