I’ve had short hair for awhile now, and I wanna change it. I ant to get hair extensions, at least until my natural hair is long enough. How long do they usually last? because my friend got one colored extension, and it fell out. I don’t know if length matters, but I want it about just past my shoulder. thanks! 
well, it all depends on how you get them done
you can weave them it, glue them in, or you can get clip in ones.
and how well you take care of them, and what brand you get
when i got mine i got the Sassy Silky Straight 18 inch hair extensions
and i didn’t fully blow dry them, so they got moldy
about half of my real hair fell out, they were constantly tangled, and i ended up taking them out after a month (they were weaved in)
so, it all just depends, but on average i think its about 6 months? i think

My daughter just finished chemo and really wants hair extensions as soon as her hair is long enough. She’s a teenager and misses her long hair.

NOT the ones you just clip in by yourself, I want the ones that last a few months and you get weaved in at the salon.
It usually depends on the salon you go to. Out here in california hair salons range from 200-1000+. Some stylist charge by the track they put in and some charge for the full head. I suggest you go on Craigslist and go to beauty services. There are some people on there who are really good for half of the price salons usually charge. Make sure you get pictures from them and also make sure they have years of experience.
I want extensions that are 20 inches or longer.
Sallys doesnt carry them, and please also dont reccomend jessica simspons hair extensions cause theyre all curly and I really dont want to straighten mine.
Plus hers are $500 which are just rediculious.}
Oh, and they can be either just wefts or clip ins, i dont care.

$50 – $100 i got my 18 inch blonde ones for $60 tho, and they are really nice
I love them, guess they add sex appeal but my short hair not so much or any attention.
Most guys like long hair. So they notice a girl with long hair.
I can get them and all but I prefer to save my money for something else and I’m trying to find somebody that can sell me brown clip-on hair extensions, If you have any that I can buy please let me know.

Try Sally’s or one of those kiosks at the mall. Also you can try craigslist.com or ebay. The thing about hair extensions is if you get human hair then you can curl, color and obviously do anything with it that you would do with your real hair. All of the other types of extensions are made of acrylic or other products similar to what dolls hair is made of. You can save alot of money buying the cheap ones and clip them in yourself but, it may not look as good as human hair. I hope this helps.
