I’m visiting a friend in prison this weekend. I was planning on wearing my clip in extensions, but not if I have to take them out in front of everyone. I’m not really sure what the basic prison rules are, considering I’ve only gone to visit him in County. Both facilities are medium security though. If anyone can inform me on what they allow and don’t allow. Also, do they allow piercings? I know all of them have different standards, but I’m sure most they all have a similar standard.
Usually when you set a metal detector off, it just directs the operator to investigate further and make sure that it’s not a weapon. If you explain that you have extensions or piercings be ready to show that you actually have these.
