*DO NOT TRY AND USE HAIR DYE ON SYNTHETIC HAIR, AS IT WILL MELT THE HAIR OFF!*

What you’ll need:
-Synthetic (any lighter color) hair extenstion (you can buy these from Sally Beauty Supply for about $4)
-Chisel tip Sharpie
-Paper, or something to keep the marker from getting on the table surface
-Regular white masking tape, or painters tape

What to do:
-Lay your extension flat on your paper
-Lay the masking tape over the extension, so that there are even “stripes” down the length of it
-Color in the extension on the exposed parts
*make sure you start from the middle and work out to the edges of the tape, as the marker will “bleed” under the taped part if it is too close*
-Let dry
-Take off the tape and brush the extension until it is soft again
-VOILA! Coontails!
