How to clip in extensions. (old)

I DON’T LOOK LIKE THIS ANYMORE. For those of you who asked for it. Feel free to ask questions either on here, myspace.com/babyquack, or formspring.me/keekster.
*Step One: Straighten your hair. This will help it to blend in with your extensions.
*Step Two: Brush your hair. You don’t really have to I guess, but it makes it look better in my opinion.
*Step Three: Make a horizontal part at the lowest section of your hair following the crown.
*Step Four: Use your strongest hair spray and tease along the part.
*Step Five: Brush your extensions to keep them in good shape. Clip them in along the horizontal part.
*Continue to repeat those step with however many tracks you choose to put in. When you are done, remember to blend your real hair in with your extensions to give the illusion that it’s your real hair.
*It’s a good idea to get a silk case (right corner of screen) to keep your extensions in to keep them in good shape.
*Don’t forget to layer your extensions so that you don’t just have your normal short hair and then really long hair. It will look stupid. Unless you cut your own hair, be sure to have a professional cut your extensions for you.

These are simply the best extensions I’ve ever had! Human hair, great quality, cheap price, and super long/durable. Definatly check these out if you are into a more “scene” style. They have tons of color and pattern options, even rainbow to solid colors.

{The Easy Way} How to make coontails with synthetic hair extensions

This is my experiment with making coontails (raccon tails) out of my synthetic clip-on highlight extensions. It worked out really nicely,
and the stripes haven’t rubbed off at all since doing this.

*DO NOT TRY AND USE HAIR DYE ON SYNTHETIC HAIR, AS IT WILL MELT THE HAIR OFF!*

What you’ll need:
-Synthetic (any lighter color) hair extenstion (you can buy these from Sally Beauty Supply for about $4)
-Chisel tip Sharpie
-Paper, or something to keep the marker from getting on the table surface
-Regular white masking tape, or painters tape

What to do:
-Lay your extension flat on your paper
-Lay the masking tape over the extension, so that there are even “stripes” down the length of it
-Color in the extension on the exposed parts
*make sure you start from the middle and work out to the edges of the tape, as the marker will “bleed” under the taped part if it is too close*
-Let dry
-Take off the tape and brush the extension until it is soft again
-VOILA! Coontails!
