In this hair tutorial, I talk about how to apply clip-in hair extensions yourself to get gorgeous long and thick hair. Glam Time clip in extensions are the easiest way to add both length and volume to thin and/or short hair without causing it any damage. I put them on not only when I wear my hair down or in half up half down everyday hairstyles, but I also incorporate them in many of my updos for special occasions and events when I need to have more hair to work on.
You can attach clip in hair extensions to your own hair quickly and easily in just a couple of minutes, and that’s why they are very convenient to use. Glam time extensions are made of 100% Remy human hair and that’s why they can be treated as your own hair – you can cut it, color it, wash it, brow dry it, style it with hot tools such a curling iron or a flat iron / straightener.
I rely on them every time I need to create a beautiful look for a romantic date, a night out, for a party, when I go out clubbing / dancing. I DON’T LOOK LIKE THIS ANYMORE. For those of you who asked for it. Feel free to ask questions either on here, myspace.com/babyquack, or formspring.me/keekster.
*Step One: Straighten your hair. This will help it to blend in with your extensions.
*Step Two: Brush your hair. You don’t really have to I guess, but it makes it look better in my opinion.
*Step Three: Make a horizontal part at the lowest section of your hair following the crown.
*Step Four: Use your strongest hair spray and tease along the part.
*Step Five: Brush your extensions to keep them in good shape. Clip them in along the horizontal part.
*Continue to repeat those step with however many tracks you choose to put in. When you are done, remember to blend your real hair in with your extensions to give the illusion that it’s your real hair.
*It’s a good idea to get a silk case (right corner of screen) to keep your extensions in to keep them in good shape.
*Don’t forget to layer your extensions so that you don’t just have your normal short hair and then really long hair. It will look stupid. Unless you cut your own hair, be sure to have a professional cut your extensions for you.
